Meet Lizzie

Hello! I am a Professional Counselor Associate. I received my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Oregon State University. I identify as a biracial, cisgender, heterosexual, able-bodied female. I prefer she/her/hers pronouns.

Originally, I am from Colorado. I moved to Oregon eight years ago to pursue a new adventure. I love the outdoors, my pets (Marlow and Moxie), learning and growing, and my most authentic and supportive people.

I chose mental health counseling after years of personal reflection and growth, shaped by my evolving values, beliefs, and goals. Therapy has been a transformative force in my own life—helping me navigate trauma, loss, and change—and I hope to offer that same sense of safety and healing to others. My passion for social justice has always been a central part of who I am, and now, through humanistic and feminist-informed counseling, I have the privilege of creating change on an individual level.

Much of my clinical experience has centered on supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I approach this work through a trauma-informed, anti-racist, and empowerment-based lens. I am deeply passionate about this population because violence disproportionately affects those who are already marginalized, and I believe survivors deserve space to process their trauma, reclaim their power, rewrite their narratives, and heal on their own terms.

This work is not only meaningful to me—it feels like a calling. Bearing witness to survivors’ resilience and supporting them in their healing journey reaffirms my dedication to creating a more compassionate, just world, one relationship at a time.

I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). I am also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and abide by their code of ethics.
